Banking

BNP Paribas

A secure, mobile-friendly application that plugs into existing systems — legacy and new — without requiring code changes on the information system side.

Context

In a bank, the information system is rarely a clean slate. New capabilities have to coexist with systems that predate them, are relied on daily, and cannot be rewritten to accommodate a newcomer. The constraint that shapes everything is therefore integration: whatever is added must fit the estate as it already exists.

Solution

Next Level Code built a secure, mobile-friendly application designed to integrate smoothly with existing systems, both legacy and new, without modification to the information system's own code. It combines flexible data storage, event-driven processing, an embedded rules engine and robust monitoring, so that behaviour can be adjusted through configuration and the running system stays observable under load.

Benefits

  • Integration with legacy and modern systems alike, with no code changes required on the information system side.
  • Business behaviour adjustable through an embedded rules engine rather than through redeployment.
  • Event-driven processing and flexible data storage, sized for performance.
  • Robust monitoring, so the system's condition is visible rather than inferred.
